Historic agreement between Hospital Universitario Quirónsalud Badalona and FC Badalona Women, where the hospital becomes the official medical service for the Catalan club for the next two seasons in a strong commitment by the club to the care of its players. The first-team players have officially started pre-season with their respective medical examinations. The tests were carried out by professionals from the team of Dr. Laura Galian and Dr. Dabit Arzamendi, both healthcare managers of the centre's Cardiology service, with the aim of ensuring that each of them is in the best possible condition to start physical preparation for the upcoming league season.

The new FC Badalona Women project is already underway with seven new faces. Signings to continue consolidating the team in the elite. Goalkeeper Txell Font, who arrives from FC Barcelona, has strengthened the goal. Meanwhile, defender Izarne Sarasola, from Nantes, arrives to cover the left flank, while midfielders Lucía Martínez and Vicky Losada, from Deportivo Abanca and Bristol City respectively, will bring balance to the midfield. Finally, forwards Lauri Requena (Granada CF), Mirari Uria (Real Sociedad) and Sheila Guijarro (Atlético de Madrid) will provide the goals. “Each of the additions responds to a sporting plan aimed at continued growth,” stressed Pedro Iriondo, the club's CEO.

Furthermore, the Catalan club's director was quick to add that “on this journey, having a reference medical partner like Hospital Universitario Quirónsalud Badalona is a differentiating factor.
