In the second half, Elena Julve threaded a ball through to Lice Chamorro. The Paraguayan scored, but it was also offside. The first big chance of the match fell to Athenea, who failed to capitalise on a mistake by Pina in possession. Bad news for the Blaugrana came with Laia Aleixandri's injury, but Pere Romeu's side knew how to recover, and in the 22nd minute, a cross from the corner by Graham Hansen was headed in by Alexia Putellas to make it 0-1. Pina had a chance for the second, but Misa prevented it with a superb save. The post also denied Vicky López a goal. At the other end, Weir had an equaliser with a weak shot that went straight into Cata Coll's hands. Before half-time, Athenea redeemed herself with a spectacular goal, which the referee disallowed for offside.
In the second half, Athenea tried again, but without luck. The clearest chance fell to Weir, but the Scot was met by a save from Cata Coll. Misa, for her part, became a saviour, preventing FC Barcelona from sealing the win with two great saves. The first from Ewa Pajor and the second from Claudia Pina. The Canarian goalkeeper couldn't hold Ewa Pajor's shot, who scored the second with a powerful strike from outside the box that bounced awkwardly for the home keeper. There was still time for Salma to capitalise on a pass from Patri Guijarro. Meanwhile, Ewa Pajor made it 0-4 on the scoreboard in front of the 3,765 spectators at the Di Stéfano stadium.
