Final Phase Semi-finals

Sunday, June 14th, 09:30h FC Badalona Women 3 - Levante UD 2

The first semi-final started with maximum intensity. Levante UD looked for Daniela Libros in attack, but FC Badalona Women's defence remained impenetrable at the back. At the other end, Amalia Garewal came close to scoring with a shot that Nara Almeda saved on the goal line. The 'granota' side responded, and it was second time lucky for Sushaila Pérez, who picked up the rebound from the Catalan team's goalkeeper to send the ball directly into the back of the net. Just a few minutes later, Amalia Garewal unleashed a powerful strike to level the match again. Before the end of the first forty-five minutes, the Levante side came close to taking the lead again, but they were met with a great save from the opposing goalkeeper.

In the second half, Aina Vila unleashed a magnificent long-range shot from practically the centre circle to complete FC Badalona Women's comeback and unleash joy among her bench. The goal forced the 'granota' side to push further forward in attack and go for the equaliser. The Levante players tried with the introduction of Sofía Fernández, looking to keep taking risks in the final third. Indeed, the forward levelled the match again with a header from the far post. The match was frantic, and once again, Amalia Garewal put the Catalan club ahead with just a minute and a half left until the final whistle. Levante UD pressed in the final stretch, but the Catalan side held on for a victory that sends them into the tournament's grand final.

Sunday, June 14th, 10:10h FC Barcelona 1 - Atlético de Madrid 2

FC Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid faced each other in search of the second ticket to the final. Laia Abelairas had the first chance of the match with a shot that went wide. For their part, the 'rojiblanco' side looked for Ainhoa Iona up front. The clearest opportunity fell to Valentina García, but Gretta Suárez saved the ball at point-blank range. María Miguel also had to intervene to thwart two more attacks from the Madrid team. The match remained very open, and a throw-in from Raquel Arranz ended up being put into her own net by the 'culé' goalkeeper. Valentina García responded with a magnificent strike that flew in off the post, but Francesca Chiarroni unleashed a powerful shot that went straight into the back of the net to put the 'colchoneras' back in front.

After the restart, FC Barcelona came out all guns blazing, with Valentina García looking for a goal, but Gretta Suárez proved insurmountable between the sticks, preventing the 'azulgranas' from levelling the match. The 'rojiblancas' maintained their lead against their opponent's onslaughts, and even Azul Alfaro ventured forward in attack for the Madrid team. At the other end, Valentina García couldn't connect with a good cross from inside the box. Time was running out for the 'azulgranas', who had won all their matches to date. Aina Fillat had a chance to score with a shot that went wide. The 'culés' kept pressing, but the 'rojiblancas' defended perfectly at the back to hold onto the victory and reach the tournament's grand final, where they will face FC Barcelona Women in search of the title.
