Before the match kicked off, the Murcian side presented a commemorative shirt to Raquel Pinel for her 100 appearances as a player for Alhama CF ElPozo. The first chance of the game came from a cross-shot by Fatou Kanteh from inside the box, which Sol Belotto dealt with to prevent any real trouble. The home side also had their opportunity. Yiyi stole the ball in midfield and found Mari Jose in an advanced position. The veteran striker found her teammate again, who put the ball into the back of the net, although the referee disallowed the action for offside. Once again, the home side came close to scoring on the counter-attack. Yiyi had a clear sight of goal, but the Madrid native’s shot was ultimately cleared off the line by Eva Llamas in a crucial intervention.

In the 37th minute, Alice Marqués sent a long ball into the opposing half, which caused a misunderstanding between Alba Santamaría and Sol. Fatou Kanteh took advantage of the indecision, taking possession of the ball and only needing to push it into the back of the net. A textbook goal for the Gambian international, who was the MVP of the clash, and now has five goals and four assists this season in Liga F Moeve. Alhama CF ElPozo tried to respond but could not change the scoreline by the end of the first forty-five minutes. After the break, the home side pushed for the equaliser. A free-kick delivery was headed away by Alice Marques. The ball became dangerous and Esther Sullastres managed to clear it, with help from the crossbar, eventually sending the ball out for a corner. Kuki came on to generate more attacking threat.

Although the clearest chance once again fell to Yiyi. The Madrid attacker received a pass from Mari Jose and went clean through on Esther Sullastres, but the local player’s shot went just wide of the post, much to the relief of the Sevilla goalkeeper. Randri García used her substitutions with the introduction of Patricia Zapata and Raquel Pinel to generate even more attacking danger, but the Andalusian defence held firm. The Murcian side threw everything forward, and Kuki managed to connect with Yiyi inside the box, who unleashed a thunderous strike into the back of the net. Once again, the forward found the rival goal, but the referee disallowed it for offside. With this victory, Sevilla FC remains in 5th position with 39 points, while Alhama CF ElPozo stays in 15th position with 9 points.
