Eunate Astralaga seals a vital step towards safety for Eibar
The Armeras beat Levante UD 2-1 to practically secure their survival in the top flight. Eunate Astralaga, who saved a penalty, was named Player of the Match. Meanwhile, Iara Lacosta and Garazi Facila scored the goals for the home side, while Inés Rizo netted the Granotas' goal from the penalty spot.

More than three points for SD Eibar at the Ipurua stadium in a clash where they were fighting for survival in the top flight. At forty-three seconds came the fastest goal of the season in LigaF Moeve. An inspired Carmen Álvarez threaded a ball for Iara Lacosta, who got between the Levante defence to open the scoring. Levante UD tried to react with a through ball from Alharilla that Eunate Astralaga collected with few problems. The home goalkeeper also saved a header from Ari Arias from inside the box. The goalkeeper and forward were protagonists again a few minutes later, but the keeper remained very secure to save the shot. The response came from Carmen Álvarez, but her lob went over the crossbar. The Granotas insisted on equalising, but a brilliant Eunate Astralaga held onto a header from Inés Rizo at the near post.

At the half-hour mark, the referee awarded a penalty for a push by Garazi on Ari Arias inside the box. Carol Marín was tasked with taking the penalty, but Eunate Astralaga, who was the MVP of the match, rose to the occasion to guess the direction and prevent the goal. A cold shower for the Levante players, who before the break had a very clear chance with a header from Ana Franco that went just wide of the post. After the restart, Iñaki Goikoetxea brought on Emma Moreno for Patri Ojeda to try and generate more danger up front, although the first chance of the second half was a cross-shot from Ana Franco that the home goalkeeper saved. Andrés París's side, who lacked accuracy, tried their luck with the introduction of Raiderlin Carrasco and Dolores Silva. The final minutes were agony for the Eibar team, but the home side managed to hold on to take the three points and seal half of their survival. SD Eibar remains in 13th position in LigaF Moeve with 21 points, twelve above the relegation zone, while the Granotas are bottom of the table.
