The Riazor stadium witnessed a genuine relegation battle in Liga F Moeve. Both teams started with intensity, aiming to secure victory, but it was the Armeras who landed the first blow. In the eighth minute of play, Carmen Álvarez beat her marker for pace and delivered a ball into the penalty area, where Iara Lacosta, arriving from behind, sent the ball into the back of the net to surprise Inês Pereira and open the scoring. Deportivo Abanca took just two minutes to respond. In the tenth minute, Lucía Rivas delivered a cross from the wing, which Esperanza Pizarro, the MVP of the match, finished with a magnificent strike. The forward, who previously played for the Eibar side, did not celebrate. Emma Moreno also tried her luck from the edge of the box with a shot that sailed over the crossbar, much to the relief of the home goalkeeper.

Before halftime, Carla Andrés was substituted due to injury and Ane Etxezarreta came on in her place. And, in the final play of the first forty-five minutes, a mistake by Eunate Astralaga when playing out from the back was capitalised on by Olaya Rodríguez, who stole the ball and unleashed a powerful shot to complete her team's comeback. In the second half, SD Eibar pushed forward in search of an equaliser. The clearest chance fell to Carmen Álvarez's head. The player from Ciudad Rodrigo attempted a header that struck the crossbar directly. The rebound fell to Arene Altonaga, but her header went straight into the hands of Inês Pereira, who made five saves throughout the match. Sara Martín was introduced to create more danger in attack. Iñaki Goikoetxea's side tried, but couldn't find a way to score.

For their part, Fran Alonso brought on Barth, Redru, and Marisa to maintain intensity in the game. The Eibar team attempted a shot that Inês Pereira saved comfortably. The final substitutions for the Armero outfit were Opa Clement and Iribarren, in an attempt to find a goal. The last significant action of the match was a dangerous delivery from Iara Lacosta that Carmen Álvarez was close to finishing, but the ball went directly into the hands of the 'Liza' goalkeeper, who prevented the dangerous play to secure the three points for her team. With this result, Deportivo Abanca remains in 12th position in Liga F Moeve with 26 points, while SD Eibar sits one place lower with 17 points, eight points above the relegation places, despite suffering nine consecutive defeats in the domestic competition.
