EL DUX Logroño pulled off the biggest surprise of Matchday 26

On Matchday 26 of Liga F, in which FC Barcelona were crowned champions, DUX Logroño snatched a last-minute 1-1 draw against Real Madrid CF to continue their push towards safety. Meanwhile, SD Eibar secured a 2-1 victory over Levante UD in a direct relegation battle.

Matchday 26 of LigaF Moeve kicked off on Wednesday, April 22nd at 19:00h with the Catalan derby between RCD Espanyol 1 - FC Barcelona 4, broadcast on GolPlay, TEN, TV3, and 3Cat, which secured the league title for the *culés*. On Saturday, April 25th at 12:00h, two matches were played: Athletic Club 1 - Granada CF 2 and FC Badalona Women 2 - Atlético de Madrid 4, broadcast on Esport3 and 3Cat. Saturday's matchday concluded at 16:00h with the clash between SD Eibar 2 - Levante UD 1, free-to-air on RTVE Play. On Sunday, April 26th, it was the turn of Deportivo Abanca 2 - Alhama CF ElPozo 2 at 12:00h on RTVE Play, and at 13:00h (peninsular time), Costa Adeje Tenerife 3 - Sevilla FC 0 was played, also on RTVE Play. At 17:30h, the match between Real Sociedad 2 - Madrid CFF 0 took place, and the weekend ended at 19:30h with Real Madrid CF 1 - DUX Logroño 1. Additionally, all matches could be watched in full on DAZN, and four of them also on Movistar+.

FC Barcelona kicked off the matchday by being crowned LigaF Moeve champions. With the debut of academy player Rosalía Domínguez, the *azulgranas* opened the scoring two minutes into the game. Carla Julià unleashed a powerful shot from the edge of the box to surprise the home goalkeeper. The French goalkeeper made a good save from Rosalía Domínguez's shot. Just before the half-hour mark, Marta Torrejón committed a penalty on Browne, which Laia Ballesté converted from eleven metres to level the match. Despite the goal, Clara Serrajordi soon worked her magic, threading a pass to Graham Hansen, who put the *blaugrana* side back in front. At halftime, Pere Romeu brought on Vicky López, and Martine Fenger joined the party with a header. The Norwegian repeated her feat late in the game to complete her brace and become the MVP of the match before the league title celebrations erupted.


Saturday, April 25th, 12:00h Athletic Club 1 - Granada CF 2 broadcast on DAZN and Movistar+

The *Nazarí* team secured their fifth consecutive victory in LigaF Moeve to maintain their strong momentum in the league competition. Jone Amezaga had the first chance of the match, but her shot was met by the save of Laura Sánchez, who made four interventions to be the MVP of the game. Sixteen minutes into the game, Manoly Baquerizo, from the far post, managed to break the deadlock. The second goal was on the cards for Laura Pérez, but the winger was not fortunate. Nanclares also denied Lauri Requena a goal. In the second half, Javier Lerga's team pushed for an equaliser, and Ane Azkona tried her luck with a header, but just as it seemed the home side were close to levelling, Andrea Gómez extended the Andalusian team's lead. Laura Sánchez made a double save against Elene Gurtubay, and finally, Ane Elexpuru managed to reduce the deficit.



Saturday, April 25th, 12:00h FC Badalona Women 2 - Atlético de Madrid 4 broadcast on DAZN, Esport3, and 3Cat

A fifth consecutive victory this season in LigaF Moeve for Atlético de Madrid. The MVP of the match was Priscila Chinchilla, who used her pace to get past the opposition defence and beat Carla Abdón. The second goal was on the cards for Jensen, but Sonia Majarín cleared the ball off the line. A few minutes later, an inspired Priscila Chinchilla unleashed a thunderbolt to send the ball into the back of the net. Before halftime, Itziar Pinillos reduced the deficit. In the second half, Priscila Chinchilla had the chance to score a third, but it was Irine Uribe who showed her goal-scoring prowess to level the score. José Herrera brought on Luany and Júlia Bartel, and both were decisive. The Brazilian found the Spanish midfielder, who made it 3-2, and Fiamma, always crucial in the *rojiblanco* attack, spotted the run of Luany from deep, who ultimately sealed the 2-4 final score.


Saturday, April 25th, 16:00h SD Eibar 2 - Levante UD 1 broadcast on DAZN and RTVE Play

Eibar took the crucial relegation battle, ending their poor run of form to virtually secure their place in the top flight. The fastest goal of the LigaF Moeve season arrived after forty-three seconds. An inspired Carmen Álvarez threaded a ball to Iara Lacosta, who broke the deadlock. Levante UD tried to react, but Eunate Astralaga comfortably saved Ari Arias' header. The Eibar goalkeeper, who was the MVP of the match, was instrumental just past the half-hour mark, saving a penalty from Carol Marín. Before halftime, Ana Franco had a headed chance but it went wide. In the second half, Andrés París's team tried their best, but it was Garazi Facila who extended the Basque team's lead with a direct free-kick. In the closing stages, Alimata Belem conceded a penalty for a foul on Alharilla, which Inés Rizo converted, but she couldn't complete the *granota* comeback.



Sunday, April 26th, 12:00h Deportivo Abanca 2 - Alhama CF ElPozo 2 broadcast on DAZN and RTVE Play

A share of the points at the Riazor stadium between Deportivo Abanca and Alhama CF ElPozo. Before the match, Samara Ortiz received a shirt for her hundredth appearance for the Galician team. Henar Muiña had the first chance with a shot that hit the crossbar, while Vega also tested the woodwork with a strike. Carlota Suárez also found the net, taking advantage of a great pass from Clau Blanco to get past the Sevilla defence and score the second. The third goal was scored by Natalia Ramos. The midfielder, who was the MVP of the match, joined the Tenerife team's celebration. In the second half, Xenia Barrios tried her luck, but without success. Natalia Ramos also had a chance to score her second, but Sullastres saved her header. The visitors pushed in the closing stages of the match, but the *Hispalienses* failed to reduce the deficit.

Real Sociedad maintains its 3rd position in LigaF Moeve with 57 points, eight ahead of fourth place, with twelve points still to play for. Emma Ramírez had the first chance of the match, but was not fortunate. Paula Fernández also tried with a long-range shot. The clearest opportunity fell to Claudia Florentino, before Klára Cahynová delivered a ball into the heart of the area which was finished by Claire Lavogez, who was the MVP of the clash. Before halftime, Hildur Antonsdóttir came close to scoring, but Julia Arrula made a providential interception. In the second half, Arturo Ruiz's team pushed to extend their lead, but Lucía Pardo hit the woodwork directly. Then, in the 90th minute, Nerea Eizagirre spotted Cecilia Marcos, who unleashed a powerful shot into the far corner to increase the *donostiarras'* lead.

Before halftime, Sara Däbritz tried her luck with a direct free-kick that went over the crossbar. In the second half, Angeldahl tested her luck with a long-range shot that missed the target. The Madrid team appealed for a potential penalty on Linda Caicedo, and academy player Iraia Toledo came on for the *vinotinto* side, who ultimately found the equaliser in the final play of the game. A long-range effort from Rebeca was headed in by Annelie Leitner, sparking wild celebrations on the bench of the Riojan club, who maintain their five-point cushion above the relegation zone.
