The Ipurua stadium hosted the clash between two teams that have secured their place in Liga F Moeve this season. Both sides looked to create danger from the opening minutes of play. Welma Fon showed intent for the Riojan club, while Carmen Álvarez attempted to break through the visiting defence. It was the player from Ciudad Rodrigo who forced a corner, taken by Adela Rico from the penalty spot. The ball went directly to the head of Mireia Masegur, who sent it into the back of the net with a powerful header to put the score at 1-0. A few minutes later, Carmen Álvarez again created danger, but Miralles was very alert. At the other end, Annelie Leitner tried her luck with a long-range shot that went over the crossbar. Iñaki Goikoetxea's team dominated the match, and just past the half-hour mark, they doubled their lead.

A recovery by Amaia Iribarren was capitalised on by Iara Lacosta to chip the ball over María Miralles and score the second goal of the match. Before half-time, the Riojan team's problems mounted with the injury to Flavine Mawete. Lorena Valderas came on in her place. After the restart, Milagros Martín and Laura Martínez replaced Comfort Yeboah and Margarita Giménez in search of a comeback. With the substitutions, DUX Logroño pushed forward, but it was Amaia Iribarren who unleashed a shot from inside the area that forced Miralles to gather the ball at the second attempt. With about half an hour gone, Iñaki Goikoetxea made a triple substitution, bringing on Arena Altonaga, who was playing her final match for the home side, Emma Moreno, and Laura Camino. The visitors pressed in attack and were rewarded with a goal to reduce the deficit.

A long ball found Salomé Prat, who spotted Welma Fon in attack. The Belgian forward played a pass back to Catalina Ongaro, who only had to push the ball into the net at the far post to make it 2-1. After the goal, Ximena Velazco came on for the visiting team, while Iria Castro played her final minutes for the Riojan side. The visitors appealed for a potential penalty on Welma Fon, but the referee, after reviewing the FVS, ruled that nothing had happened. The forward continued to press across the entire front line, albeit without success. The last chance of the match fell to Malen Uranga, but the home team's forward was inches away from connecting with a powerful cross into the box. At the end of the match, the SD Eibar fans paid tribute to Arena Altonaga. The eternal captain of the home team played her final match for the club of her life.
