A merited triumph for DUX Logroño to move away from the relegation zone. The first chance of the match was a shot from Débora García from inside the area, but the shot from the Hispalense side's full-back was held by a secure María Miralles in two attempts. Thirteen minutes into the match, a free-kick from Isina was headed in by Falfán from the far post. The local midfielder's header was eventually sent into the net by Rebeca. The Brazilian centre-back opened the scoring for the Riojan side. The home team continued to push for more goals from set-pieces, and Isa Álvarez came close to scoring an own goal with an attempted clearance. Flavine Mawete also had a goal in her sights. The African forward found the ball inside the area, but her shot went over, much to the relief of the visiting team.

In the 40th minute, Débora García won the ball in the opposition half and found Millaray Cortés. The Chilean midfielder didn't hesitate, unleashing a powerful right-footed shot that flew into the top corner, making Miralles' stretch impossible as she watched the ball go directly into the net. Just as the game seemed destined for a draw at half-time, a cross from Justina Morcillo fell to Isina, who controlled the ball and was fouled by Fatou Kanteh. The referee awarded a penalty, and the Asturian forward, who was the MVP of the match, converted from eleven metres to make it 2-1. Esther Sullastres guessed the direction of the shot but could do nothing to keep it out. In the second half, David Losada's side pushed to find an equaliser and break down the defence of the vinotinto club.

A great team move was finished off by Rosa Márquez, but the visiting midfielder's shot went wide, much to the relief of DUX Logroño. Meanwhile, Mia Asenjo and Margarita Giménez came on for the home side, while Alba Cerrato, Andrea Álvarez and Gemma Gili tried to find a goal for Sevilla FC. The visitors threw everything forward in the final stretch, and once again, the clearest chance fell to Rosa Márquez, but her shot went completely wide. The Riojan club managed to withstand the final surge from the Sevillistas to return to winning ways and move up to 14th place in Liga F Moeve with 14 points, five points above the relegation spots. The Andalusian side go into the break in 7th place with 39 points, but after three consecutive defeats.
