Before kick-off, an emotional tribute was held for the DUX Logroño youth men's team for their promotion. Meanwhile, Puerto Rican Estefanía Cintrón made her first start for the Madrid CFF first team. The first chance of the match fell to the visitors; Allegra Poljak sent a cross-shot into the heart of the box that no teammate was able to convert at the back post. Anita Marcos also came close to scoring. The forward used her pace to get past Rebeca, but her tame shot went straight into the hands of Miralles, who gathered the ball easily. Everything changed on the half-hour mark when a combination between Isina, Justina Morcillo, and Annelie Leitner left the Austrian player one-on-one with Belén de Gracia, whom she beat with a powerful shot through the legs to open the scoring at the Estadio de Las Gaunas.
The full-back for the Riojan side was named MVP of the match. Madrid CFF pushed for an equaliser with two chances before the break. First, Esther Laborde sent a delivery into the box that found no teammates, while Allegra Poljak tried her luck with a cut-back inside the area and a shot that went wide, under the watchful eye of Miralles, who kept a clean sheet at the end of the first half. After the restart, Sánchez Vera made a double substitution, bringing on Freja Siri and Marina Rivas to bolster the midfield and attempt to close the gap, but DUX Logroño dominated the contest. Isina broke into the box and the visiting defence cleared the ball, but it fell to Catalina Ongaro, who tried her luck with a strike that went straight into the hands of the Madrid CFF goalkeeper, who brought on Emilie Nautnes and Andonova with half an hour to play.

Madrid CFF came close to scoring with a header from Núria Mendoza at the back post, but the centre-back's effort was caught by Miralles without any real trouble to neutralise the danger. The match remained open, but with five minutes remaining, Flavine Mawete picked up the ball in her own half, used her pace to get away from Mônica Hickmann, and found herself inside the box to beat Belén de Gracia with a wonderful chip. The final 3-0 scoreline was provided by Isina. The Asturian forward received a through ball from Laura Martínez and fired it directly into the top corner to seal the match at Las Gaunas. This victory keeps the 'vinotinto' side in 14th place in Liga F Moeve with 18 points, five clear of the relegation zone, while the visitors remain in mid-table with 31 points.
