Madrid CFF and Deportivo Abanca took to the Fernando Torres pitch, aiming to secure all three points. The first attempt was a header from Allegra Poljak, which Inês Pereira saved with little difficulty. The post also denied Emilie Nautnes, who came close to scoring with a powerful header. At the other end, Paola Ulloa saved Ainhoa Marín's effort with a good stop. Six minutes in, Allegra Poljak capitalised on a great pass from Ángela Sosa to score, but the referee disallowed it for offside. The Galician side quickly recovered, and the referee awarded a penalty for a foul by Mônica Hickmann on Esperanza Pizarro inside the box. The Uruguayan stepped up to take and score the penalty. Just two minutes later, Ainhoa Marín was very close to scoring the second.

The winger blasted a shot over the bar when completely alone to finish from the far post. The match was very open, and Inês Pereira had to intervene again to pull off a magnificent save from a Melgard shot. Indeed, the Norwegian connection was key to levelling the match. Melgard linked up with Emilie Nautnes, who levelled the score on the scoreboard. Before half-time, Paola Ulloa saved Olaya Rodríguez's free-kick, but the rebound fell to Merle Barth, who, in a borderline offside position, tucked away the 1-2. After the half-time break, Nerea Sánchez and Freja Siri entered the pitch, but Fran Alonso's side pushed forward. Just one minute after the second half kicked off, Raquel García pounced on a rebound inside the box to score.
The visitors were not only solid in defence but also highly effective in attack. Around the half-hour mark, Vera Martínez, who was the MVP of the match, stole the ball in the opposition half and unleashed a left-footed shot that surprised Paola Ulloa, further extending her team's lead. Paula Gutiérrez joined Deportivo Abanca's scoring spree. The midfielder didn't hesitate to unleash a powerful strike that went straight into the back of the net. Madrid CFF appealed for a possible penalty, but it was the blue and whites who sealed the decisive 1-6 victory. Paula Monteagudo only had to tap home a great pass from Ainhoa Marín. With this victory, the Galician side remain in 12th position with 20 points, an eleven-point cushion above the relegation zone.
