On Wednesday, September 23rd, voting opened to choose September's Player of the Month. This initiative saw EA SPORTS, two seasons ago, select Liga F Moeve to become the pioneering women's championship to introduce this award for the footballer with the best monthly performance and statistics in the Spanish top flight. The Spanish competition joined the other five men's leagues that already offer this award with EA SPORTS: LALIGA EA SPORTS, Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1.
The seven nominated footballers were: Claudia Pina (FC Barcelona), Millene Cabral (Deportivo Abanca), Synne Jensen (Atlético de Madrid), Irine Uribe (FC Badalona Women), Felicia Schröder (Real Madrid CF), Paula Gutiérrez (Deportivo Abanca) and Anna Wellmann (SD Eibar). Ultimately, the forward from the *azulgrana* side was the winner. The player from Moncada y Reixach played 285 minutes across four Liga F Moeve matches between August and September, scoring 5 goals and providing 3 assists, including a hat-trick in her team's 0-6 victory against Deportivo Alavés, and also contributing with a goal or assist in every match her club has played this season across all other competitions.
