Clara Serrajordi, the 'all-action midfielder' who delivers the most passes in Liga F Moeve
The FC Barcelona midfielder is the LigaF player with the most passes so far this season, with 1,558, a success rate of 91%. Arriving at La Masia in 2018 to join the second-year 'alevín' team, Clara Serrajordi has forced her way into the first team with her performances.

This past summer, FC Barcelona announced that Clara Serrajordi (Llinars del Vallès, 7 December 2007) would join the first team, wearing the number 16 shirt. The midfielder was facing the greatest opportunity of her life after arriving at La Masia in 2018. Her signing for the youth setup came after a match against Llerona, in which she played against the Catalan side. From her second year at the U12 level to reaching Liga F Moeve, she has progressed through every youth category of the blaugrana club. Last season, she made her debut with the seniors in February during the Copa Catalunya semi-final against AEM, but it was not until May that she made her Primera División debut against Athletic Club. In those nine minutes, she already showed glimpses of her quality in the middle of the park. At the end of the match, she celebrated the league title like one of the squad and featured in an iconic photo with Alexia Putellas holding the trophy.
Pere Romeu’s rotations have led to her becoming a fundamental part of the blaugrana midfield. In her first year with a first-team squad number, she has already clocked up 1,338 league minutes across twenty-two matches, making her the fifth most-used player in the domestic competition for the culé side. Furthermore, she has contributed one goal and one assist. Her debut as a goalscorer came in the victory (0-4) on matchday six at Ipurua. The Catalan received a cut-back from Sydney Schertenleib and, with a left-footed strike, sent the ball into the back of the net. The ball took a deflection off a defender to surprise Eunate Astralaga and break the deadlock. Additionally, Clara Serrajordi also scored in the blaugrana triumph against Deportivo Alavés (1-6) in the last 16 of the Copa de la Reina. Her vision and ability to be omnipresent have been key to understanding her breakthrough.

Her numbers also reflect this. The Catalan midfielder recovers 5.5 balls per match and wins 52% of her duels. However, if there is one statistic she leads, it is passing. At 18 years old, Clara Serrajordi has taken the reins of the midfield, and she is already the player in Liga F Moeve who has completed the most passes so far this season, with 1,558. She is also the player with the most successful passes, with 1,419, maintaining a 91% success rate. These actions have not only taken place in her own half, but especially in the opposition's half, where she again leads the way with 1,184 passes and an 89% success rate. She is also the second player in the competition to make the most interceptions, with 1,761. An all-rounder who can play both as a pivot and as an interior midfielder.
The call-up to the Spain senior team
After winning the U17 European Championship in 2024 and the U19 European Championship in 2025 with the Spanish national team—where she also left her mark in the final against France (0-4) with a goal and two assists, earning a spot in the team of the tournament—she received a call-up to the senior side in October. Her strong performance for FC Barcelona caught the eye of Sonia Bermúdez, and she eventually made her debut for La Roja on 28 October, in the second leg of the Nations League semi-finals against Sweden, coming on after the hour mark. The young La Masia talent, who has not missed a squad selection since, ended up being crowned Nations League champion in December after defeating Germany (3-0) in the final at a record-breaking Metropolitano in front of 55,853 spectators. “She is 18 years old and can still improve a great deal by being surrounded by important players,” the head coach highlighted.
The coach from Vallecas is well aware of the Catalan's potential. “She is a player who is working very well, who is growing a lot during this season, and she has the best player in the world in her position ahead of us, which is Patri Guijarro, and she can learn a lot from her,” added Sonia Bermúdez in the press conference for the latest squad announcement, in which Spain will face England at Wembley and Ukraine at the Nuevo Arcángel in Córdoba. These are two matches in the 2027 World Cup qualifying phase, where Clara Serrajordi is looking to continue convincing the coach to be included in the final list. For the moment, the player from Llinars del Vallès has already become one of the most prominent footballers in Liga F Moeve. A bright future, and a present that is just as impressive, both with FC Barcelona and the Spanish national team.
