“I'm really looking forward to it and I'm very excited. It's the first time I've left home in my entire life, and it's a challenge. It's a very important year for me, and I'm approaching it with great enthusiasm,” confesses Celia Segura (10 March 2007, Barcelona) in what were her first words as a new player for Atlético de Madrid. The Catalan forward arrives on loan from FC Barcelona, a club she joined to develop in their youth categories, and where, in the 2018/2019 season, at just 12 years old, she was the top scorer in the *azulgrana* youth system with 121 goals in a single campaign. She spent her last three years in the *blaugrana* reserve team, making her debut at just 15 years old. In her last season as a *culé*, she scored a total of 10 goals in 23 matches, twenty-one of them as a starter.

These numbers allowed her to be key in the *azulgrana* reserve team securing the Primera RFEF title. “On the pitch, I'm very much a team player, generous, and I read spaces very well. Off the pitch, I'm a very cheerful and spontaneous person,” highlights a player who, thanks to her good performances, has participated in the FC Barcelona first team's training sessions, although without making her debut in Liga F Moeve. Two seasons ago, she scored in the Trofeo Joan Gamper, although the goal was eventually disallowed, and she has also shown glimpses of her quality in the Copa Catalunya. “I have to learn from my teammates. It's my first year in LigaF, and I have to help the team try to win everything we can,” added the Catalan forward.
