Catalan derby and Atleti vs Costa Adeje Tenerife in Copa de la Reina semi-finals

FC Badalona Women will face FC Barcelona in the Copa de la Reina semi-finals, while Atlético de Madrid will go head-to-head with Costa Adeje Tenerife. The first leg will be played on 10, 11 or 12 March, with the second leg taking place on 17, 18 or 19 March, as teams compete for two spots in the final.

This Friday, 6 February at 13:00h, the pairings for the Copa de la Reina semi-finals were revealed, which featured four Liga F Moeve teams: FC Barcelona, who are the reigning champions of the competition, Atlético de Madrid, Costa Adeje Tenerife and FC Badalona Women. The ties will be played over two legs. The first leg will be played between 10, 11 and 12 March, while the return leg will be on 17, 18 or 19 March. The team drawn first will play the first leg at home. The Blaugrana side boasts eleven cup titles, while Atlético de Madrid have won it twice (2016 and 2023). 

Meanwhile, Costa Adeje Tenerife have reached the semi-finals for the fourth time in their history, while FC Badalona Women have already made history in the knockout competition. The draw was conducted by Amanda Sampedro. The legendary player, and current coordinator of the Madrid club's teams, first drew FC Badalona Women and then Atlético de Madrid. Marc Ballester's side will face FC Barcelona, meaning there will be a Catalan derby in the semi-finals, while the 'Rojiblancas' will go head-to-head against Costa Adeje Tenerife in a clash between the fifth and fourth-placed teams in the league championship. The final will be played on Saturday, 16 May at the Estadio de Gran Canaria.
