A morning of good football in Alcalá. Three minutes into the match, Jensen played the ball wide to Fiamma. The player from Denia sent a low ball into the area which Boe Risa struck. The midfielder's shot was blocked by the visiting defence. The rebound fell back to the Norwegian player, who this time, sent the ball into the back of the net to open the scoring and become the match's MVP. Deportivo Abanca's problems mounted with Samara Ortiz's injury. Paula Novo came on in her place. The referee disallowed a goal from Luany following an earlier foul. The Atlético de Madrid side came close to scoring from a set-piece. A direct free-kick shot from Fiamma Benítez was saved by Inês Pereira with a superb intervention, sending the ball for a corner. The rebound fell to Jensen, but her shot went high.

After the break, José Herrera made a change, bringing on Kathrine Møller Kühl for Fiamma Benítez. The dominance remained with the Madrid team. Amaiur found herself one-on-one with Inês Pereira, but the Portuguese goalkeeper showed quick reflexes to deny the forward and send the ball out for a corner. The Portuguese goalkeeper was again the protagonist a few minutes later, saving a shot from Gio Queiroz, who had come on in the second half to maintain attacking intensity. For the Deportivo Abanca side, attackers Lucía Rivas and Hildah Magaia also entered the field in search of an equaliser. Atlético de Madrid continued to miss opportunities to seal the match, and Jensen sent a good cross into the penalty spot over the bar.

The Madrid club's persistence paid off with seven minutes remaining. An error in the Deportivo Abanca side's build-up play was capitalised on by Gio Queiroz, who stole the ball, dribbled past her defender, and beat Inês Pereira with a powerful shot to make it 2-0, the final score. Deportivo Abanca could have reduced the deficit with up to two chances in the final minutes. The first fell to Hildah Magaia. The South African won a ball behind the defence and found herself one-on-one with Lola Gallardo, who reacted perfectly to claim the ball. Vera Martínez also had a chance with a header that went wide. The last chance of the match was a shot from Luany that went just wide of Inês Pereira's goal, preventing further goals from the Atlético de Madrid players.
