Athletic Club and DUX Logroño draw at Lezama and remain winless this season

DUX Logroño took control of the ball in the early stages and in the 5th minute, Austrian Anneli had the first chance for the Logroño side, with a shot from the edge of the box that went over the bar.
Gradually, Javier Lerga's team started to get back into the match and, in the 10th minute, had a double chance, thanks to a pass from Nerea Nevado from the side of the box that Azkona narrowly missed inside the six-yard box. Immediately after, Sara Ortega shot from the edge of the area, slightly over Chelsea's goal.
Athletic Club took possession of the ball and pressed around the Logroño box, creating several chances, but without the reward of a clinical finish and with Marta Masferrer, MVP of the match, very solid in defence. In the second half, Héctor Blanco made changes to the Logroño bench, and the introduction of Mawete gave them depth and pace in attack.
Both teams had numerous chances in a much more dynamic second half. In the 62nd minute, a DUX counter-attack allowed Mawete to set up Isina on the wing, who drove into the box, but her shot was repelled by goalkeeper Nanclares.
Three minutes later, the clearest actions came for the Bilbao side, with a shot from outside the box by Maite Zubieta, which forced Chelsea to make a brilliant save to tip it wide for a corner, and immediately after, a cross from the right wing by Pinedo was backheeled by Zugasti against the post.
In the 78th minute, DUX Logroño requested a review by the Football Video Support, claiming a penalty for Valero's pull on Isina, which the referee did not deem punishable. And in the 96th minute, in the final minute of stoppage time, Chelsea saved a point for the Logroño side, with a great save from Clara Pinero's shot inside the box.
