On Monday, 2 February, January's 'Player of the month' was revealed. This initiative saw EA SPORTS choose LigaF last season to become the pioneering women's league to launch this award for the player with the best monthly performance and statistics in the Spanish First Division, as voted by fans. The Spanish competition joined five other men's leagues that already offered this award in collaboration with EA SPORTS: LALIGA EA SPORTS, Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga, and Ligue 1. Following the respective votes, the winner was Athenea del Castillo, who joins Ewa Pajor (December), Claudia Pina (November), Edna Imade (October), and Luany (September).

The winger prevailed over the other six nominated players: Paula Fernández (Real Sociedad), Érika González (Levante UD), Ariadna Mingueza (Granada CF), Sydney Schertenleib (FC Barcelona), Anna Torrodà (RCD Espanyol), and Elba Vergés (Costa Adeje Tenerife). The player from the Madrid-based team played 237 minutes across three matches in January's LigaF Moeve. During that time, the attacker managed to score two goals, both against Levante UD, and provide one assist against Sevilla FC.

Furthermore, the player from Solares, who has already accumulated 1,163 minutes in the domestic competition, also scored a goal in the Supercopa de España semi-finals. The attacker from Real Madrid CF collected the trophy, along with the special FC 26 item, at the Alfredo Di Stéfano stadium before the nineteenth matchday fixture of LigaF Moeve against RCD Espanyol. With this initiative, EA SPORTS continues to demonstrate its strong commitment to promoting women's football, specifically by making the Spanish competition a global pioneer in such actions.
