On Monday, 6 April, the Player of the Month for March was revealed: ‘Player of the month’. This is an initiative for which EA SPORTS, since last season, chose LigaF to be the pioneering women's league to launch this award for the footballer with the best monthly performance and statistics in the Spanish Primera División, as voted for by the fans. The Spanish competition joined five other men's leagues that already offered this award in partnership with EA SPORTS: LALIGA EA SPORTS, Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga, and Ligue 1. Following the votes, the winner was Amaiur Sarriegi (Atlético de Madrid), who joins Lucía Moral 'WIFI' (Sevilla FC) in February, Athenea del Castillo (Real Madrid CF) in January, Ewa Pajor (FC Barcelona) in December, Claudia Pina (FC Barcelona) in November, Edna Imade (Real Sociedad) in October, and Luany (Atlético de Madrid) in September.

The forward from San Sebastián beat the other six nominated players: Kika Nazareth (FC Barcelona), Eva Navarro (Real Madrid CF), Laura Pérez (Granada CF), Itziar Pinillos (FC Badalona Women), Fatou Kanteh (Sevilla FC), and Ona Baradad (RCD Espanyol). The Atlético de Madrid player featured for 193 minutes across three LigaF Moeve matches in March, in addition to playing in both legs of the Copa de la Reina semi-finals, where she helped her team qualify for the cup final. During that time, the striker scored a hat-trick and provided an assist in the Madrid side's 5-0 victory over DUX Logroño in Alcalá.

Furthermore, the Atlético de Madrid attacker has now clocked up 1,326 minutes in the domestic competition, in which she has scored 6 goals and provided 4 assists, meaning the San Sebastián native generates a goal every 132 minutes. The forward was also key in qualifying her team for the semi-finals of the Copa de la Reina. The Atlético de Madrid footballer received the trophy, along with her special FC 26 item, at the Centro Deportivo Alcalá de Henares, ahead of the matchday 27 fixture of LigaF Moeve against SD Eibar. With this initiative, EA SPORTS continues to demonstrate its firm commitment to the promotion of women's football, specifically by making the Spanish competition a global pioneer in these types of activities.
