A goal-scoring recital from Atlético de Madrid in Alcalá. Two of the stars from the film “PIONERAS. Solo querían jugar” were present in the stands to watch the match. With Patri Larqué starting in goal, the *rojiblancas* generated danger from the opening minutes, with a cross from Fiamma Benítez being cut out by the visiting defence for a corner. Medina, with a header from inside the box, sent the first warning, but it was Amaiur Sarriegi who, in the fourteenth minute, capitalised on a ball recovery by Fiamma following a defensive error in the build-up play by the Riojan side, to put the score at 1-0. The match was going the way of José Herrera’s team. DUX Logroño sought a response with a cross into the heart of the box for Salomé Prat, but the *colchoneras* continued to dominate the game.

Past the half-hour mark, Amaiur found Fiamma. The player from Denia threaded the ball through to Jensen, who sent a low cross to the far post for Amaiur to simply tap the ball into the back of the net and complete her brace. Just six minutes later, Miralles saved a shot from Luany inside the box. The ball fell to Amaiur. The forward, who was the MVP of the duel, completed her hat-trick to make it 3-0 on the scoreboard. After the break, both coaches made changes. José Herrera brought on three fresh players with an eye on the Copa de la Reina semi-final second leg, while up to four players entered for the Riojan club in search of changing the pace of the encounter. The visitors pushed forward, and Lorena Valderas tried her luck with a high shot.

DUX Logroño pressed the build-up play, but the *colchoneras* had the match under control. In the 58th minute, Medina went down the left flank and crossed into the box for Amaiur, who spotted the run of Fiamma Benítez. The midfielder, who didn't hesitate, cut inside twice inside the box and, with a powerful left-footed strike, extended the lead on the scoreboard. A goal of brutal quality. The goal finally brought calm to the Atléticas against any possible reaction from their rivals. Natalia Peñalvo came close to scoring the fifth, but Miralles held onto the shot. Medina also tried her luck, but without success, and Annelie Leitner cleared what would have been Macarena Portales’ goal off the line. For their part, Patri Larqué saved a goal from Mia Asenjo, while Sheila Guijarro slotted home the definitive 5-0.
