Since the professionalisation of Liga F in 2022, more and more girls dream of becoming professional footballers one day. Spanish women's football has experienced unstoppable growth over the last four years, reaching 127,242 registered players, confirming its status as the second sport with the highest number of licences in Spain. This represents a 15.8% increase, a historic record. A figure that confirms the strength of the grassroots level and the consolidation of an upward trend. Furthermore, this season, the Ciudad Deportiva José Ramón Cisneros, where Sevilla FC plays, hosted the first edition of the Torneo Liga Futura Moeve from 12 to 14 June. It was the first girls' U12 tournament in history, organised by Liga F and Moeve, as part of a firm commitment to boost the development of young players. This major investment in youth academies has a direct impact on the league competition.
