Gabriela Álvarez, new Granada player
Granada CF has announced the agreement reached with Mexican player Gabriela Álvarez for her incorporation into the Granada squad ahead of the start of the 2026/2027 season. The centre-back arrives on a free transfer from Mexican side Querétaro FC.

Gabriela Álvarez (Tepic, Mexico, 1996) began her professional career at Rayados de Monterrey. After successive spells at Universidad Nacional, Club Juárez, and Cruz Azul, she spent two seasons at Mazatlán, from where she moved to her most recent club, Querétaro FC. The Central American centre-back has thus accumulated over 150 appearances in the elite of her country's football. The player is also an international with the Mexican U-17 and U-20 teams.
