Las vinotintos secured a vital home win to take a giant stride towards safety. The match's second goal was the work of Flavine Mawete. The African forward, who concluded the league campaign with 3 goals and 1 assist, beat Belén de Gracia with a wonderful right-footed lob to double their lead on the scoreboard and bring all the spectators at the Estadio de Las Gaunas to their feet.

Meanwhile, the third goal of the match bore the signature of Isina Corte. The Asturian received a pass on the edge of the box from Laura Martínez, cut past her marker, and with an unstoppable left-footed shot, curled the ball right into the top corner as Belén de Gracia looked on helplessly, unable to stop the forward's effort. DUX Logroño secured their top-flight survival thanks to the attacker's quality in the final third.
