An exciting clash between the two newly promoted Liga F Moeve sides at the Mendizorroza stadium. Deportivo Alavés return to the elite as Primera RFEF champions, following three consecutive seasons in the Second Division. Central defender Amaya García, on loan at the *babazorro* club from Real Madrid CF, will miss the match as she is with the Spain squad preparing for the U20 World Cup. Meanwhile, Valencia CF return to Liga F Moeve just one year later, after overcoming CD Alba Fundación in the promotion play-off semi-finals and Villarreal CF in the final. Both coaches, Andrea Esteban and Mikel Crespo, already know what it takes to manage in the top flight. Curiously, they did so in reverse: the Teruel-born coach previously managed the *blanquinegro* club, and the Basque manager was in charge of the *Gloriosas*.

Finally, the curtain will come down on the weekend at the Di Stéfano with the Madrid derby. Real Madrid CF head into the fixture after securing a 0-2 away win against Ajax in the first leg of their Champions League qualifiers. Los Blancos will be without academy players Laia López, Noemí Bejarano, Silvia Cristóbal, Irune Dorado, and Pau Comendador for this league opener, as they have been called up for the U20 World Cup, while forward Signe Bruun is a doubt for the match.
