06 MAY 2026
A grand celebration of women's football. That is what will be experienced at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López on Sunday, 10 May at 19:00 (peninsular time) during the clash between Costa Adeje Tenerife and FC Barcelona on Matchday 28 of the competition. A unique experience where spectators will be able to witness a match between two of the best teams this season in Liga F Moeve. Afterwards, those attending the match will enjoy a live concert by Abraham Mateo, one of the most renowned singers on the national and international scene. Furthermore, before the start of the match, the Tenerife side will set up a 'fan zone' in the vicinity of the stadium, which will begin three hours before kick-off, featuring various activities for children. A great occasion where football and music will be united.
Two of the best teams in the competition
The Heliodoro Rodríguez López will be the stage for Costa Adeje Tenerife vs FC Barcelona. The Tenerife side are enjoying a historic season, sitting 5th in Liga F Moeve with 50 points—the same as Atlético de Madrid (4th)—while the Canary Island outfit reached the semi-finals of the Copa de la Reina, where they were eliminated by the very same Atlético de Madrid. Furthermore, Yerai Martín’s side are on a six-match unbeaten run in the league (four wins and two draws), having conceded only one goal in those six fixtures. Indeed, defensive solidity is one of the key strengths of the 'Blanquiazules'. Between Noelia Ramos and Nay Cáceres, they have kept 15 clean sheets, and the island club is the second team with the fewest goals conceded (17). Moreover, they have lost only three matches this season in the top flight, with only one defeat at home.
“This Sunday we have a great opportunity; we are having a great season and we want to keep fighting for fourth place. We know the difficulty of the match, but we have to stay focused to concede as little as possible to our opponent and show personality on the pitch,” stated Natalia Ramos ahead of the match. The midfielder, who has 9 goals and 4 assists, is one of the great players in the competition. María Estella, Pisco, Claudia Iglesias 'Bicho', and Carlota Suárez will be sidelined for the Tenerife side, who welcome back Paola Hernández. For their part, FC Barcelona arrive at the fixture as champions of Liga F Moeve with four matchdays to spare. The 'Blaugranas' approach the clash after facing Levante UD midweek.
Furthermore, Pere Romeu’s side have qualified for the final of the UEFA Women's Champions League against Olympique Lyonnais, and also have the Copa de la Reina final against Atlético de Madrid on the horizon. The 'Azulgranas', who have only lost one match this season across all competitions, have scored the most goals (116) and conceded the fewest (7) in the league championship. Between Cata Coll and Gemma Font, they have accumulated 19 clean sheets, while Claudia Pina (17 goals) and Ewa Pajor (16 goals) lead the league's top-scorer table. Meanwhile, Graham Hansen (10 assists) is also the top assist provider in the league, tied with the 'Rojiblanca' Luany. The only absentee for the 'Culé' side will be Laia Aleixandri. The centre-back, who suffered an ACL injury, will not be available for the match.
The Abraham Mateo concert
What will make the match unique is the Abraham Mateo concert. The renowned Spanish singer, songwriter, producer, and actor will perform live after the match for the spectators in attendance, as part of the 'Blanquiazul' club's commitment to rewarding the fans who come to the game. The artist rose to fame at the age of 14, and throughout his career, he has released seven studio albums, earning multiple gold and platinum records in several countries. He has also collaborated with numerous international artists, becoming one of the great figures of Spanish pop. “I will be supporting women's football on 10 May at the Costa Adeje Tenerife vs FC Barcelona match, so I encourage you all to come and have a good time that day,” the artist expressed to encourage the Tenerife fans to head to the Heliodoro, which will host great football and live music.
