One of the standout clashes of the weekend saw Athletic Club claim a hard-fought home win. In the very first minute, the Basque side recovered the ball in midfield, and Sara Ortega played a defence-splitting pass to Ane Azkona. The Navarrese forward controlled the ball and unleashed a powerful right-footed strike inside the near post, giving Lola Gallardo no chance and opening the scoring. It is the striker's third goal of the season, making her her team's top scorer with a goal every 68 minutes.
