Before the start of the match, Real Sociedad's women's academy teams formed a guard of honour for the Basque team's players for their Champions League qualification. Additionally, the Orfeón Donostiarra performed the txuri-urdin club anthem on the pitch. Arturo Ruiz's side quickly took control of the match, looking to create goal-scoring opportunities. Twenty minutes into the game, Aiara Agirrezabala linked up with Cecilia Marcos, who broke away with pace and unleashed a cross-shot that surprised Laura Sánchez, sending the ball into the back of the net and breaking the deadlock at Zubieta. It was the forward's third goal in the last three league matchdays. The hosts tried again, and Paula Fernández took a long-range shot that went just wide of the post. Granada CF also sought an equaliser at the end of the first half, but failed to find the back of the net.

After the break, the San Sebastián side continued to dominate the play. Again, Aiara Agirrezabala delivered a cross into the box which Emma Ramírez headed powerfully, but the ball went straight into the hands of a confident Laura Sánchez. Just past the 75-minute mark, the move was repeated. This time, with a happy ending for the Basque team. Aiara Agirrezabala again sent a ball to the far post, Emma Ramírez, who was the MVP of the match, headed the ball, and Claire Lavogez remained very alert to pounce on the loose ball and send it into the back of the net. 2-0 to the hosts, who extended their lead on the scoreboard. In the 76th minute, the referee sent off Manoly Baquerizo. The Granada CF full-back received a second yellow card after a strong tackle on Lucía Rodríguez. The match became even more complicated for the Andalusian team, making a comeback even harder.

Real Sociedad had a chance for a third from a cross into the box that Jujuba cleared. The ball took a wicked deflection and hit the crossbar. The rebound fell to Claudia Florentino, who sought the goal with a header, but the post again denied the Basque team's centre-back. Persistence paid off, and in the 83rd minute, Paula Fernández threaded a pass to Nerea Eizagirre, who linked up with Klára Cahynová with a backheel. The Czech midfielder didn't hesitate, unleashing a powerful shot to make it 3-0 on the scoreboard. The visitors rallied, but couldn't reduce the deficit. With the final whistle, Zubieta erupted in celebration of the txuri-urdin team's Champions League qualification, who will now look to fight for second place. Arturo Ruiz's side are level on points with Real Madrid CF, although with the head-to-head goal difference lost against the Madridistas, who still have a match to play.
