Liga F has celebrated the official presentation of the 2026/2027 season, its fifth campaign as a professional competition, at an event that brought together its clubs, footballers, sponsors, institutions, broadcasters, and media. Journalist Susana Guasch hosted a gala that served to share the progress of the last four years and present the main lines of a new stage, following the re-election of Beatriz Álvarez with the backing of the clubs.

In a conversation about the present and future of the competition, the Liga F president thanked the trust received and placed the clubs at the heart of the project. “Clubs are the raison d'être of Liga F, and our obligation is to listen to their needs and work so that all can develop their projects,” stated Álvarez, who advocated for dialogue and joint work as foundations for continued progress and generating new opportunities for footballers.

The president highlighted the improvements brought about by professionalisation, both in the organisation of the competition and in the conditions in which players pursue their careers. Among these, she emphasised the advancements of the II Collective Bargaining Agreement in maternity, work-life balance, mental health, and training, while acknowledging the efforts of the clubs and footballers to turn that progress into a reality on and off the pitch.
