Gabriela Álvarez, new player for Granada
Granada CF has announced the agreement reached with Mexican player Gabriela Álvarez for her incorporation into the Granada squad ahead of the start of the 2026/2027 season. The centre-back arrives on a free transfer from Mexico's Querétaro FC.

Defender Gabriela Álvarez (Tepic, Mexico, 1996) began her professional career at Rayados de Monterrey. Following consecutive spells at Universidad Nacional, Club Juárez and Cruz Azul, she spent two seasons at Mazatlán before joining her last club, Querétaro FC. The Central American centre-back has, as a result, accumulated over 150 matches in her country's top flight, and now arrives at Liga F Moeve. The player is also an international with the Mexico U-17 and U-20 national teams.
