Following the 1-1 draw in the first leg, the Camp Nou will decide the outcome of the UEFA Women's Champions League semi-final second leg. The azulgranas, champions of Liga F Moeve, finished top of their group with 16 points after securing five wins and just one draw. Furthermore, they eliminated Real Madrid CF in the quarter-finals with a 12-2 aggregate score. “Our fans always give us incredible support, and this time we will need them even more to go through,” said the blaugrana manager, who is banking on the statistics. FC Barcelona have won thirty-one of the thirty-three matches they have played at home in Europe's elite competition. Additionally, the reigning runners-up are looking to reach their seventh final. Of the previous six, they managed to triumph in three (2020-2021, 2022-2023 and 2023-2024).

The azulgranas, who have only lost one match in all competitions this season, can count on Ewa Pajor. The forward, who scored in the first leg, can also boast of having entered the top 10 all-time goalscorers in UEFA women's club competitions, with 41 goals. The only absentee for the Spanish side will be Laia Aleixandri, who has a cruciate ligament injury. Meanwhile, Aitana Bonmatí is the big news in the squad list. For their part, Bayern de Múnich also arrive at the fixture as Bundesliga champions and are looking to reach their first Champions League final. In the group stage, José Barcala’s side finished in 4th place with four wins, one draw and one defeat. Furthermore, in the knockout stages, the German club beat Manchester United 5-3 on aggregate in the quarter-finals.

“We have to keep believing in ourselves,” affirmed José Barcala, the German team’s manager, after the first leg. The Spanish coach, who will not be on the bench having been sent off in the first leg, will be without Franziska Kett, who is also suspended. Klara Bühl will be available, however, and she is the competition's top assist provider with 8 goal-creating passes. Bayern de Múnich are on a run of twenty-eight consecutive matches in all competitions without defeat, since they last fell, precisely, against FC Barcelona (7-1) in the first group stage match. Both teams have faced each other six times, with a record of four wins for the blaugranas, one draw and one victory for the German side. At stake is a ticket to the Champions League final, which will be played on Saturday, 23 May at the Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo.
