The first edition of the Torneo Liga Futura Moeve was won by FC Badalona Women, who were crowned champions at Sevilla FC’s Ciudad Deportiva José Ramón Cisneros Palacios after a magnificent tournament performance from a group of players who barely knew each other, having spent only five days together. Furthermore, the Catalans were the last to arrive in the Andalusian city to miss as few classes as possible. Following their journey, the Catalan side secured a 1-0 victory over Atlético de Madrid on matchday one with a goal from Amalia Garewal. On the second matchday, they won again, this time 2-0 against Madrid CFF with a brace from Amalia Garewal. They closed out the group stage unbeaten with a 2-2 draw against Deportivo Abanca, featuring goals from Júlia Irurtia and another strike from Amalia Garewal, who showcased her clinical finishing.

With these results, David Rivera and Iker Lagos’ side finished the group stage in 1st place in Group A with 7 points. The quarter-final draw paired them with Sevilla FC, the tournament hosts. The match was very evenly contested and ended in a goalless draw. The tie was decided by a frantic penalty shootout, where the Catalans ended up winning 0(3)-0(2). A miss from the spot by the Sevilla FC player sent FC Badalona Women through to the semi-finals, where they faced Levante UD for a place in the tournament's grand final. The Granotas arrived at the fixture as one of the strongest teams in the tournament, but a goal from Aina Vila and another brace from Amalia Garewal cancelled out the two goals from the Levante side to secure a 3-2 win and a spot in the final.

Their opponents, Atlético de Madrid, had reached the final after overcoming FC Barcelona 1-2 in the other semi-final. Both teams had already met in the group stage, with the Catalans coming out on top. It was a tight affair, and the final ultimately went to a penalty shootout. After fourteen spot-kicks, FC Badalona Women lifted the trophy after winning 0(7)-0(6), sparking jubilant scenes on the Catalan bench. Goalkeeper Leila Jurado was the fifth least-conceded goalkeeper of the tournament, with 4 goals conceded in 156 minutes—or one goal every 39 minutes—proving vital to her team's trophy win. Amalia Garewal was also decisive. The forward was the tournament's top scorer with 6 goals and was named MVP of the first edition of Liga Futura Moeve, establishing herself as one of the stars of the future.
