The Costa Adeje Tenerife continues to shape its squad ahead of the 2026/27 season. Following the arrivals of Natalia Padilla, Ariadna Mingueza, Marina Martí, Alba Pérez, and Henar Muiña, the sixth signing of the summer is Érika González (Colombres, 31 August 2004). The Asturian, who can play as an attacking midfielder and across all attacking positions, began her career at Sporting de Gijón, where she featured for both the reserve and first teams. In the 2021/2022 season, she joined Levante UD to bolster their reserve side. Her progress was immediate, and she made her debut for the first team that same campaign, beginning an upward trajectory that saw her establish herself as one of the best players in the Levante UD squad. Over those five seasons, she played a total of 110 official matches, scoring 25 goals and becoming one of the team's captains.
Last season, the Asturian played 1,538 minutes across 18 matches, all as a starter, though she suffered a cruciate ligament injury that cut her season short. Despite this, her stats included 5 goals and 2 assists, making her the top scorer for Levante UD, and contributing to a goal for the team every 219.71 minutes. On the international stage, Érika González has been a regular in Spain's youth national teams, forming part of the squad that won the U19 European Championship in 2023, one of the greatest recent successes for the nation's youth football. She is an attacking midfielder with the ability to operate as an offensive playmaker. She can also play as a forward and on both wings, standing out for her intelligence in getting past opposing defences.
In addition to her technical quality in the final third and her vision, she brings creativity, dynamism, and the ability to break down defences. “The arrival of Érika is that of a player with enormous potential and a very solid present. Despite her youth, she has demonstrated leadership and the ability to make a difference in Liga F. We are very proud that our paths are crossing,” highlights Jordi Torres, the Tenerife team's sporting director. For her part, the player also shared her first words as a 'blanquiazul'. “I am very happy to be part of your group this year. It won't be long before we see each other with our boots on at the Heliodoro, but we will make the wait worth it. It is going to be a very exciting and beautiful season. Looking forward to seeing you and getting started.”
