Both teams kicked off Matchday 25 of Liga F Moeve. The first chance of the duel fell to Carmen Álvarez. The player from Ciudad Rodrigo tried her luck with a long-range effort that went well wide. A few minutes later, the forward created danger again with a shot from inside the area, but once more, the striker failed to find the target, although the play was ultimately ruled out for offside. Costa Adeje Tenerife responded with a pass from Carmen Álvarez into the path of Aleksandra Zaremba. The full-back sent a cross directly towards the back post, but the ball ended up in the back of the net. Despite chances for both sides, the scoreline remained unchanged at Ipurua at the end of the first forty-five minutes.
After the break, Iñaki Goikoetxea brought on Emma Moreno for Arene Altonaga to add more attacking threat. The first chance of the second half was a powerful direct free-kick from Natalia Ramos, but the midfielder’s strike was saved by a fine hand from Eunate Astralaga. The home goalkeeper was the MVP of the match. In the following action, the keeper remained solid between the sticks to deny a dangerous move from the Canary Islands side. Eibar also tried their luck from a set-piece, looking for Carmen Álvarez inside the box, but a solid Noelia Ramos claimed the ball to avert the danger. At the other end, Patri Gavira, who was very secure at the back, tried her luck with a thunderous strike from outside the area that sailed over the crossbar.
Both managers made changes to break the deadlock. Iara Lacosta came on for the hosts, while Paulina Gramaglia and Sakina Ouzraoui were introduced for the Tenerife side. The Eibar player tested the keeper with a cross-shot that went wide. Clau Blanco also tried her luck with a delivery straight into the hands of Eunate Astralaga, who held onto the ball to keep a clean sheet. The final chance of the match was a header from Elba Vergés, returning to her former home, which went well wide. With this draw, SD Eibar end their streak of nine consecutive defeats, while Yerai Martín’s side, who also returned to Ipurua, saw their winning run come to an end and may see their hopes of reaching the Champions League fade further.
