DUX Logroño and Eibar secured their safety after Matchday 28

The Riojan side won 1-4 against Levante UD in Buñol to secure their place in the elite. SD Eibar also remained in the top flight after beating Alhama CF ElPozo 2-0, who were relegated to Primera RFEF. The Heliodoro hosted 11,647 people, a club record, and a live concert by Abraham Mateo.

Matchday 28 of Liga F Moeve kicked off on Saturday, 9 May, with two matches at 12:00: RCD Espanyol 1 - FC Badalona Women 1, and the clash between Real Sociedad 3 - Granada CF 0. The Catalan derby was broadcast free-to-air on TV3 and 3Cat. Later, at 16:00, it was time for the duel between SD Eibar 2 - Alhama CF ElPozo 0, also shown free-to-air on RTVE Play. The Saturday schedule concluded with Athletic Club 0 - Deportivo Abanca 1. On Sunday, 10 May, at 12:00, Levante UD 1 - DUX Logroño 4 took place. Then at 17:00, it was time for the Madrid derby between Real Madrid CF 1 - Atlético de Madrid 0, broadcast free-to-air on Teledeporte and RTVE Play. The weekend finished at 19:00 (peninsular time) with Costa Adeje Tenerife 1 - FC Barcelona 3. After the final whistle, the Tenerife stadium hosted a live concert by Abraham Mateo. The weekend began with a share of the points in the Catalan derby. The RCD Espanyol players wore shirts in support of Anna Torrodà, who is suffering from a cruciate ligament injury. Twenty-two minutes into the game, Júlia Guerra pushed Ana González inside the box. The visiting midfielder opened the scoring. Ángeles del Álamo had a chance to equalise, but was denied by the opposing goalkeeper. Half an hour in, Sonia Majarín conceded a penalty for a foul on Ainoa Campo, which the midfielder converted to level the score. In the second half, Ariadna Domènech, who was the Player of the Match, remained imperial in stopping the attacks from FC Badalona Women, who tried hard but lacked luck. Furthermore, María Llompart was sent off. The final chance of the match fell to Browne, who found herself one-on-one inside the area, but the Espanyol goalkeeper saved the shot to preserve the draw.


Saturday 9 May 12:00 Real Sociedad 3 - Granada CF 0 on DAZN and Movistar+

The Donostiarra side celebrated their qualification for next season's Champions League in style. The youth academy women's teams of Real Sociedad formed a guard of honour for the Basque side's players, and the Orfeón Donostiarra performed the club's anthem. In the 20th minute, Cecilia Marcos sent in a cross-shot that surprised Laura Sánchez to find the back of the net and open the scoring. Paula Fernández also tried her luck with a long-range effort that went narrowly past the post. In the second half, the hosts continued their momentum, and just past the hour mark, Emma Ramírez, who was the Player of the Match, headed a cross into the path of Claire Lavogez, who scored the second. Manoly Baquerizo was sent off for a second yellow card, and the final 3-0 was the work of Klára Cahynová, who capitalised on a back-heel flick from Nerea Eizagirre to seal the win at Zubieta.



Saturday 9 May 16:00 SD Eibar 2 - Alhama CF ElPozo 0 on DAZN and RTVE Play

SD Eibar secured their top-flight status at Ipurua. Twenty minutes into the match, a cross from Emma Moreno struck the hand of Yannel Correa. The referee pointed to the penalty spot, and Laura Camino, who was the Player of the Match, beat Sol from twelve yards out. Alhama CF ElPozo looked to react through 'Yiyi', but the attacker's lob went over the bar. In the second half, Belén Martínez searched for a goal but couldn't find the target. The match remained open, but in the 67th minute, Laura Camino sent a cross into the box that Carmen Álvarez headed home to double the lead. Despite the difference on the scoreboard, the Murcian side pushed forward. Eunate Astralaga excelled in goal to deny a header from Belén Martínez and a volley from Raquel Pinel, but Randri García's side were ultimately relegated due to the results of the other matches.


Saturday 9 May 18:00 Athletic Club 0 - Deportivo Abanca 1 on DAZN and Movistar+

The Saturday action concluded at Lezama. The Athletic Club players played the match with their mothers' names on their shirts to mark Mother's Day, which was celebrated on 3 May. The first chance fell to Paula Gutiérrez, but the Galician side's midfielder was unlucky and sent the ball wide. Ainhoa Marín also threatened, but was met by a secure Adriana Nanclares. For her part, Maitane Vilariño also had an opportunity, but without finding the goal. Maite Valero and Daniela Agote tried before the break, but without success. In the second half, Bárbara Latorre, who was the Player of the Match, produced a great individual play and set up Ainhoa Marín, who opened the scoring. Just after the start of the second half, Teresa Mérida was sent off for a tackle on Isina, who was through on goal. The Asturian, who was the Player of the Match, opened the scoring with a stunning direct free-kick. The second was the work of Annelie Leitner, who has now scored three goals in the last three league matches. Ximena Velazco joined the survival party, finishing off a loose ball inside the area. In the final minutes, Iria Castro conceded a penalty for a foul on Ari Arias, which the Granota striker converted. The final 1-4 was scored by Iria Castro. The Riojan side's centre-back capitalised on a corner delivery from Isina to redeem herself for her earlier error and seal her team's victory.


Sunday 10 May 17:00 Real Madrid CF 1 - Atlético de Madrid 0 on DAZN, Teledeporte and RTVE Play

The Madrid derby was painted white. Linda Caicedo had the first chance of the match with a powerful strike that went narrowly past Lola Gallardo's goal. Naomie Feller also had a chance to score. The Frenchwoman hit the crossbar when she had everything in her favour to score. Once again, Lola Gallardo was providential to deny a potential goal from Linda Caicedo, although the visiting goalkeeper could not stop a stunning volley from Weir. The Scot, who was the Player of the Match, broke the deadlock at the Di Stéfano. In the second half, Atlético de Madrid suffered an injury to Lola Gallardo, who had to be replaced by Patri Larqué. The Colchoneras pushed through Luany, but Merle Frohms held the ball in two attempts. In the final stages, Amaiur and Jensen had two more opportunities to score, but without luck. The last action fell to Medina, but the ball went over the bar.

The weekend concluded at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López in front of 11,647 spectators, a record attendance for a women's team match at the stadium. The home side formed a guard of honour for champions FC Barcelona, and Abraham Mateo performed the ceremonial kick-off. Mapi León had the first chance, but Noelia Ramos caught the ball. In the 23rd minute, Aleksandra Zaremba sent a cross into the box that Paulina Gramaglia headed into the back of the net. A few minutes later, Violeta Quiles was sent off. The visitors kept trying, and before the break, Vicky López sent in a corner which Esmee Brugts flicked on at the near post to open the scoring. In the second half, Patri Guijarro sent a cross into the box which Kika Nazareth headed home to complete the comeback. Claudia Pina, who was the Player of the Match, scored the final 1-3. After the match, Abraham Mateo performed live for the spectators.



Monday 11 May 19:00 Madrid CFF 2 - Sevilla FC 0 on DAZN, Teledeporte and RTVE Play

Matchday 29 concluded at the Fernando Torres. The visitors looked for a breakthrough through Fatou Kanteh, but it was Mônica Hickmann who headed home a cross from Natasa Andonova to open the scoring. Fatou Kanteh had a chance to equalise with a powerful effort that struck the woodwork. Alba López had to come on for Débora García, who left the pitch injured. In the second half, the Sevillian side made a triple substitution, but Freja Siri, who was the Player of the Match, remained imperial at the back to cut out the danger from the Sevilla players. In the 76th minute, Marina Rivas played a through ball for Nerea Sánchez, who doubled the lead by beating Sullastres with a great shot. In the final stages, Ana Coya made her debut in Liga F Moeve for Madrid CFF, and Xenia Barrios forced the expulsion of Estefanía González for a second yellow card. David Losada's side pushed, but could not narrow the deficit on the scoreboard.
