On Wednesday, May 20, voting opened to choose the May Player of the Month: ‘Player of the month’. This initiative saw EA SPORTS select LigaF last season to become the pioneering women's league to launch this award for the player with the best monthly performance and statistics in the Spanish First Division. The Spanish competition joined five other men's leagues that already offer this award in partnership with EA SPORTS: LALIGA EA SPORTS, Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga, and Ligue 1.

The seven nominated players were: Claudia Pina (FC Barcelona), Caroline Weir (Real Madrid CF), Vilde Boe Risa (Atlético de Madrid), Claire Lavogez (Real Sociedad), Ainhoa Marín (Deportivo Abanca), Laura Camino (SD Eibar), and Isina Corte (DUX Logroño). Ultimately, the *azulgrana* forward was the winner. The player from Moncada y Reixach played 117 minutes across the two LigaF Moeve matches in May, scoring 3 goals: a brace against Levante UD (5-0) and another goal against Costa Adeje Tenerife (1-3). Additionally, the forward has accumulated 20 goals and 5 assists in 1,440 minutes across 26 league matches, also being the competition's top scorer.

With this Player of the Month selection, EA SPORTS enhances the Spanish forward's item and continues to demonstrate its strong commitment to promoting women's football, specifically LigaF Moeve, as a pioneer for these types of initiatives worldwide. The *culé* forward, who already won the award in November, joins Luany (Atlético de Madrid) in September, Edna Imade (Real Sociedad) in October, Ewa Pajor (FC Barcelona) in December, Athenea del Castillo (Real Madrid CF) in January, Lucía Moral ‘WIFI’ (Sevilla FC) in February, Amaiur Sarriegi (Atlético de Madrid) in March, and Natalia Ramos (Costa Adeje Tenerife) in April.

The player from Moncada y Reixach has been key to the *azulgranas* achieving the Copa de la Reina, with a goal in the final, and the UEFA Women's Champions League, thus conquering the second quadruple of titles in their history. Additionally, the forward received the award in the build-up to the match between FC Barcelona - Real Sociedad. A fixture corresponding to Matchday 29 of LigaF Moeve, which was played on Wednesday, May 27, at 7:00 PM at the Johan Cruyff Stadium.
